Ans: Our professional crew can install on average 700 square feet in one day and are equipped to sand, stain, and apply (2) coats of Synteko finish to 800 square feet in one day.

Q5. Do I need to move out when the work is in process?

Q7. How many different types of surface finishes are there and what are their strengths?

Ans: There are three main types of surface finishes. They are Water-Based Urethane, Oil-Modified Urethane, and Swedish Finish (or Acid Cure Urethane).



The Water-Based Urethane dries by water evaporation in two to three hours. This finish is clear and non yellowing with age. It has a milder order than oil-modified finishes; therefore, is more expansive.


The Oil-Modified Urethane dries in about eight hours and it is easy to apply. Unfortunately, this type of finish ambers yellow with age. Strength factor: BETTER


Swedish Finish (or Acid Cure Urethane) dries in about three hours. It is clear and non yellowing with age. It has an extremely strong odor and should be applied by highly skilled wood flooring professionals. Strength factor: BEST
